Banting Avo-and-Berry Smoothie
I love this smoothie and sometimes drink it instead of eating breakfast or lunch. If I do not have frozen berries, I use fresh strawberries or berries. If you are Banting, you may only eat berries and strawberries on occasion.
Trying to lose weight but getting nowhere? You may be insulin resistant. People who adhere to my Banting (low in carbs, high in fat) diet plan achieve great results and find that it is an easy lifestyle to follow and maintain weight loss. My body is insulin resistant and consequently I’ve been Banting for the last few years. I don’t struggle with my weight and have far more energy now than when I use to eat carbohydrates.
Banting Avo and Berry Smoothie Recipe
- 150g Frozen mixed berries
- 200g Greek yogurt OR coconut cream
- 1 avocado
- 1 cup of crushed ice
Blend all the ingredients together. Serves 2.
